A great launch! Five moms came out to The Plateau Club in Sammamish, WA for a morning of conversation, exercises, and tips for remembering to take care of themselves. (We Moms tend to think of that only after we're sure everyone else is taken care of.)
- A discussion on how we're sick of being told how important "balance" is, and how flexibility and resilience are probably even more important. (Amy, you were a good sport with letting me push you over.)
- Introduction of "Burnt Chop Syndrome": An Australian phrase that has to do with giving the best away to everyone else, it definitely resonated with the group.
- Enthusiastic drinking of water after the "Move It and Water It" segment. (Followed be equally enthusiastic trips to the bathroom!)
- Rave reviews for the fabulous gift bags.
We'll be doing it again on Saturday, Nov. 15th 2008 at the same time (9am-1pm) and the same place. If you have any questions, would like to attend, or know someone who needs to attend, please call me at (425) 445-3759 to register. You can also register online at http://pmotc.eventbrite.com
